- This role will report to the Sr Director, Materials Program Management and will be based in San Jose, CA.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for manufacturing readiness; DFM feedback, NPI build planning, system readiness
- Interacting with our supply partners and internal core teams like Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing etc. on new product schedules and deliverables
- Engineering and development builds & component cost tracking
- Manage supply chain and manufacturing requirements to support product development
- Project manage Operations NPI and Product Lifecycle Process requirements
- Through a deep understanding of our commodity terms, ensure the logistical flow of materials necessary to meet production schedules, inventory control requirements, and ongoing material line support
Skills
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree or minimum 8+ years of professional experience required.
- Positive attitude and team work
- Ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data
- MS Excel and Power Point knowledge with deep understanding of Excel techniques.
- Professional experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), planning, and supply chain experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management required.
- International experience and/or Mandarin, Japanese, Vietnamese language skills a plus
- Ensuring appropriate focus on operational execution is critical to enable Time to Market, Cost entitlement & Supply base capability.
