About the role

  • Under minimal supervision, the Data Scientist is responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Data Management, Modeling and Analysis: Queries databases.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates data literacy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; the ability to prepare and transform raw data to deliver insights.

Requirements

  • Intermediate SQL skills or equivalent computer language skills and strong understanding of dimensional and relational database concepts, including primary keys, foreign keys, and joins.
  • The Data Scientist readily displays the ability to diagnose issues, identify appropriate resources and escalations, and propose creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in an evolving technical environment
  • Demonstrates strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.

Skills

  • Epic Certification/proficiency in the Cogito suite of tools, preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot reporting content functionality to ensure data is accurate and daily processing has been completed.
  • Proficiency and demonstrated experience with report writing and data visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Microsoft SSRS
  • Queries databases.
  • Compares models using statistical performance metrics.

Compensation

  • $81,800.00 - $126,800.00 / yr
