About the role
- Under minimal supervision, the Data Scientist is responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Data Management, Modeling and Analysis: Queries databases.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates data literacy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; the ability to prepare and transform raw data to deliver insights.
Requirements
- Intermediate SQL skills or equivalent computer language skills and strong understanding of dimensional and relational database concepts, including primary keys, foreign keys, and joins.
- The Data Scientist readily displays the ability to diagnose issues, identify appropriate resources and escalations, and propose creative solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to adapt and excel in an evolving technical environment
- Demonstrates strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems.
Skills
- Epic Certification/proficiency in the Cogito suite of tools, preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to research and troubleshoot reporting content functionality to ensure data is accurate and daily processing has been completed.
- Proficiency and demonstrated experience with report writing and data visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Microsoft SSRS
- Queries databases.
- Compares models using statistical performance metrics.
Compensation
- $81,800.00 - $126,800.00 / yr
