About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the team responsible for Statsig's data ingestion, experiment computation, and stats engine.
- Partner with data scientists and engineers to turn new statistical and causal inference methods into scalable, reliable product capabilities.
- Evolve our data and computation architecture to support increasingly complex experiment designs, metrics, and customer datasets.
- Experience leading teams (10-15 team members) t hat build and productionize statistically rigorous, data-intensive products.
- Experience building large-scale data ingestion and distributed computation systems across cloud and data warehouse environments.
- Experience building warehouse-native products or executing computation within Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or similar environments.
- You will help build the data and computation foundation for Statsig while creating an environment where new data science innovations can move from research and prototypes into production-advancing both our product and the broader field of experimentation.

- An advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or another quantitative field.

Compensation
- $254,000 - $381,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
- Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $227,000 - $341,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
- Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $227,000 - $341,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
- 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match of up to 1% of your eligible pay each pay period up to $2,000 annually
