About the role
- The Optician is responsible for processing optics across a variety of production operations to support program initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Work with other Optical Manufacturing Technicians to develop basic machining and manufacturing skills along with developing an area of specialization
- Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness of the work area
- Support Quality Calibration to maintain compliance
Requirements
- Additionally, if you are a dual citizen (a citizen of the U.S. and another country), the Company must obtain approval for you to have access to the information required for this position.
- Familiarity with hand tools, manual measurement tools, computer-controlled test equipment, Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- High school or equivalent
- Functional, technical and computer skills
- Customer-focused and action-oriented
- Problem solving, analytical reasoning, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously while affording top priority to business-critical issues
- Obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance
Compensation
- There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

- The proposed salary range for this position is:
- $50,500 - $101,100
