About the role

Students learn essential skills in tool use, ladder and scaffold safety, electrical fundamentals, grounding, circuit analysis, and the proper use of PPE.
Training includes climbing and working on utility poles, inspecting climbing gear, performing pole-top rescues, and completing CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen certification.

Assess student performance through assignments and hands-on evaluations and maintain accurate records.
Maintain updated course materials and ensure all classroom, lab, and climbing equipment meet safety and industry standards.

Students also gain experience with aerial framing, pole setting, rigging, trenching, and operating equipment such as bucket trucks and digger derricks.

Perform and complete other tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator, Campus Director of Education, and/or Campus Executive Director.
