About the role
- Must possess strong communication and time management skills to effectively work with patients, families, physicians, and all other health care disciplines.
- include but not limited to: effective and efficient utilization of resources through day-to-day operations of the schedule, staff assignments, and staff development.
- Assists with quality monitoring and the development and implementation of improvement action plans and department project work.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (AA) Associate Degree in nursing (ADN) Required
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safety and security operations for the protection of people, data, property and company.
- The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
- The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
- Demonstrates knowledge and ensures competency and comprehension of all regulatory standards.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Actively looking for ways to help people.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- 4-6 years Experience in area within the last five (5) years Preferred
- Leadership training and/or experience Preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred
