About the role
- The regular workdays are Monday - Friday around the core hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with a 100% on-site requirement.
- Regular attendance is essential to permit the team to function effectively.
- The job is performed in an indoor office environment.
Nice to have
- Contribute to AUV system architecture definition and selection of supporting sensors
- Conduct trade studies to evaluate alternatives for sensors, battery systems, mechanical implementations, and interfaces
- Analyze field test data to diagnose performance anomalies and refine algorithms
- Participate in testing, customer demonstrations, and deliveries
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to mid-level and junior GNC engineers
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Systems Engineering, Robotics, Aerospace / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
- 15+ years of professional systems engineering experience on complex hardware/software systems
- Experience with integration and test processes, including test procedure development and anomaly resolution
