About the role

  • The Regional Development Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Directors of Regional Development to secure major gifts.
  • This position acts as a key operational and stewardship engine for the team-evaluating, identifying, and engaging leadership benefactors and prospects while maintaining administrative excellence and seamless donor relations.

  • The University of Notre Dame seeks to attract, develop, and retain the highest quality faculty, staff and administration.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree + 2 years of professional experience or 4 years of professional office experience in lieu of a degree considered.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively in writing, with complementary editing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to remain tactful in all situations.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills are required to meet deadlines in this fast-paced environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Nonprofit experience.
  • Fundraising operations experience.
  • Corporate sales operations experience.

Skills

  • Promptly address and resolve benefactor requests or concerns, ensuring clear communication with regional fundraisers.
  • Assist Directors in identifying timely solutions to donor needs to strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate complex travel arrangements, including airfare, lodging, transportation, and meal reservations.
  • Prepare, reconcile, and track travel expense reports, department expenditures, and regional budgets.
  • ​​​​​​​Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

  • $60k-$742k
