About the role

This position is considered a developmental role preparing the team member to grow within our brand.
The Café Assistant General is responsible for driving financial success through strong team leadership and active coaching.

Maintains a clean and safe work environment for team members and guests, ensures all equipment is functioning and in working order, actively uses their resources to find solutions, supports GM with adherence to R&M budget.
Implements Ascension Coffee standards as directed by Brand Leadership.
Actively drives sales growth at café level: improved service, clean merchandising, LSM/events.
Coachable: receives and implements feedback quickly Approachable: forges strong interpersonal connections with folks of all skill levels.
Strong team building skills, clear communication.

participates in an inclusive and quality focused culture, utilizing thoughtful communication as guidepost for fellow team members, customers, and consumers.
Qualifications Specialty coffee experience is a plus.
Reliable transportation, able to travel to all locations.
Able to work nights and weekends.
Great organizational skills, problem solving ability, and intuitive resourcefulness.
High initiative and self-management skills, willing to take direction.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, ~8 hours each workday.
