About the role
- DESRI is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join its team as an asset management analyst or associate, title to be commensurate based on experience.
- The role also provides the opportunity to participate in the development, acquisition, and management of renewable energy assets in an inclusive and engaging work environment.
- As a member of the Asset Management team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the performance of your assets and the firm's portfolio.
Responsibilities
- You'll monitor revenue generation, operating costs, and budget adherence; prepare financial reports and forecasts, identifying opportunities to optimize revenue streams; and collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with financial regulations.
- You'll also manage contracts and agreements related to renewable energy generation assets; monitor contract compliance, including performance guarantees, maintenance obligations, and reporting requirements; and collaborate with legal and procurement teams to negotiate and review contracts.
- You'll monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct analysis, develop and implement strategies to maximize energy output, minimize equipment failures, and extend asset lifespan.

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Familiarity with financial analysis, budgeting, and contract management
- and a keen attention to detail are required.
- Quarterly travel to your assigned assets, in addition to team meetings and stakeholder meetings, will be required.

Nice to have
- A master's degree in any of these fields is a plus.
Compensation
- The expected annual base salary for this position is $90,000 to $130,000.
