About the role
- About the job As a member of the Real Estate team, you are a critical thinker with versatile knowledge on the front lines of Google's physical expansion.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of senior Googlers, directors, and consultants to deliver fluid project solutions.
- Develop key performance indicators and own change initiatives to improve processes and optimize business performance.
- Manage general contractor and vendor performance during construction by reviewing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and leading data-driven change.
- Communicate team governance direction across broad audiences and manage complex conversations from document control to file management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in project controls, or operations management within a real estate development, design, or construction environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with reporting, data analysis, and managing complex datasets.
- Experience in managing and executing recurring operational processes with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial systems, project management software (e.g., e-Builder, Procore, Oracle Primavera), and excellent Google Sheets skills.
- Understanding of capital expenditure (CapEx) management, project financial lifecycles, and cost control principles.
- Ability to work effectively with teams across different regions and functions.

Compensation
- US: $164000 - $239000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
