- As a Senior Engineer I on the Consumer Payment Portal team, you will be a core architect of the digital interface that empowers consumers to resolve their financial obligations with ease and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Shape the Consumer Experience: Partner cross-functionally with UX and Payments teams to design, build, and maintain a seamless, accessible front-end web experience that removes friction from the payment process.
- Own the Initiative Lifecycle: Take full end-to-end technical responsibility over complex, long-term product features, from initial scoping with Product Management to production delivery and post-launch stewardship.
- Drive Technical Strategy: Translate high-level business and product requirements into elegant, documented technical implementations, contributing directly to the team's engineering roadmap.
- Guard System Reliability: Predict potential system breaking points, implement robust automated testing, and participate in an on-call rotation to maintain the exceptional uptime of your team's domain.

- You will collaborate directly with our UX and Payments teams to bridge the gap between complex backend services and a flawless web interface.

- Predict potential system breaking points, implement robust automated testing, and participate in an on-call rotation to maintain the exceptional uptime of your team's domain.
- You lead by example, taking a proactive interest in scaling the team's collective intelligence, protecting engineering boundaries, and actively participating on hiring panels to bring in top-tier talent.
Requirements
- The ability to protect confidential company, employee, customer, and business information while working outside of a company office is also required.
- A Proven Full-Stack Builder: You bring 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep, hands-on proficiency in Golang and React.
- An Autonomous Operator: You are a natural self-starter capable of navigating complex codebases and solving deep technical problems independently, quickly becoming a go-to domain expert for the team.
- An Elite Communicator: You can comfortably facilitate technical and non-technical alignment meetings, establishing clear agendas and driving cross-functional groups toward decisive project outcomes.
