Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with client decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with investment directors and broader client teams to deliver thoughtful, coordinated, and high-quality client service.
  • Lead client engagement activities, including regular meetings, issue resolution, and feedback discussions.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction, engagement, and retention across the regional client base.
  • Lead the development of Cambridge Associates' business development strategy for the Texas region.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in client relationship management, business development, investment consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a broad range of client types, including family, nonprofit, and institutional investors.
  • Strong understanding of investment concepts and the ability to work effectively with investment professionals and clients on complex topics.
  • Proven ability to operate collaboratively, strategically, and with sound judgment in a matrixed organization.
  • Support clients in navigating strategic decisions by bringing insight, judgment, and a strong understanding of their objectives and constraints.
  • Demonstrated success managing sophisticated client relationships and contributing to new business growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel across Texas and, as needed, more broadly.

Compensation

  • 181500 Pay Range Maximum:
  • In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package.
  • Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
