About the role
- The Project Manager, Physical Security Guarding Operations position reports to the Physical Security Sr.
- This position is responsible for proactively protecting people, assets, intellectual property, and information to achieve the strategic goals and mission of AVANGRID.
- Specifically, this position is responsible for security operations and the planning, implementation, and integration of security systems across AVANGRID facilities.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute strategies to improve the reliability and effectiveness of physical security systems at existing and new projects.
- Define, implement, and maintain corporate security rules, policies, and procedures.
- Lead vulnerability audits, forensic investigations, and mitigation procedures.
- Support security organization training in security awareness, rules, policies, and procedures.
- Support administration of department budgets and staff schedules.
- Implement and maintain effectiveness measures, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure security compliance with corporate and government regulations.
- Effectively execute department strategy/goals to drive organizational performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Criminology, Homeland Security, or related field
- or 10 years relevant security related work experience is required.
- Work experience in Law Enforcement, or related governmental agency with at least 3 years' experience in a leadership role, is required.
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance, as necessary.
Nice to have
- PSP, CPP or similar certification, working knowledge of the CFATS and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) standards is preferred.

Compensation
- The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $116,640 to $145,800.
