About the role

The Project Manager, Physical Security Guarding Operations position reports to the Physical Security Sr.
This position is responsible for proactively protecting people, assets, intellectual property, and information to achieve the strategic goals and mission of AVANGRID.
Specifically, this position is responsible for security operations and the planning, implementation, and integration of security systems across AVANGRID facilities.

Create and execute strategies to improve the reliability and effectiveness of physical security systems at existing and new projects.
Define, implement, and maintain corporate security rules, policies, and procedures.
Lead vulnerability audits, forensic investigations, and mitigation procedures.
Support security organization training in security awareness, rules, policies, and procedures.
Support administration of department budgets and staff schedules.
Implement and maintain effectiveness measures, standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure security compliance with corporate and government regulations.
Effectively execute department strategy/goals to drive organizational performance.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Criminology, Homeland Security, or related field
or 10 years relevant security related work experience is required.
Work experience in Law Enforcement, or related governmental agency with at least 3 years' experience in a leadership role, is required.
Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance, as necessary.

PSP, CPP or similar certification, working knowledge of the CFATS and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) standards is preferred.

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $116,640 to $145,800.
