About the role

Developing and preparing the University's operation budget, budget request, and estimates revenue and expenditures.
Preparing revenue/expenditure projections, funding allocations, budget justifications and legislative review documents.
Maintaining computerized budget system and designs and implements enhancements to the system when necessary.

Working knowledge of Financials, HR, and Student Services software or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning software packages such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, and/or Workday.
Proven success as a strategic thinker and in working with multi-year budget projects.
Forward thinker with the ability to see the connections and pathways from today to 5 years ahead.
Experience connecting budget to the strategic plan for implementation with on-going attention to alignment and refinement.
Experience working collaboratively with and across all institutional stakeholders and with external groups to communicate budget decisions, processes, planning, and monitoring practices.
Knowledge of state government organization, functions and services.
Demonstrated high-level organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fastpaced, detail-oriented, and time-sensitive environment.
Proven track record of successful analytic and project management skills, experience with budget management systems, financial software, and an enterprise resource (ERP) system.

Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration from an accredited four-year college or university.
Master's degree preferred.
