Responsibilities
- Ensure program alignment with accreditation standards (e.g., CEPH) and lead accreditation-related activities
- Collaborate with department leadership on program growth, recruitment, and retention strategies
- Maintain an active program of scholarship, including publications, presentations, and pursuit of extramural funding
- Engage with professional organizations and community partners to enhance program visibility and impact
Requirements
- Experience with academic program leadership, curriculum development, or academic administration
- Strong understanding of CEPH accreditation standards and processes
- Doctoral degree (DrPH or PhD) in Public Health or a related field is required; candidates with a degree from a CEPH-accredited program/school are preferred
- Demonstrated experience in public health practice and/or applied research
- Prior teaching experience at the graduate or doctoral level and doctoral mentorship
- Record of peer-reviewed scholarly activity
- Evidence of leadership and collaboration
