About the role

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, projects, and reliability teams to improve plant performance while ensuring safe and reliable operation of critical electrical assets.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a safety-focused and collaborative engineer with a passion for improving the reliability and performance of electrical systems.
Someone who applies sound engineering judgment to solve complex technical challenges while balancing operational priorities, asset reliability, and long-term maintenance strategies.

Reporting to the Electrical Superintendent, the Engineer or Engineer In Training, Electrical will support the reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical systems across our coal processing facilities.
This position provides engineering support for processing plant equipment, fixed electrical infrastructure, substations, drives, motors, PLC systems, and power distribution.

108,000 - 133, 000 CAD / year For applicants registered as an EIT or GIT, annual base salary will be determined by EVR's formal progression matrix based on verified relevant years of experience.
The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
