About the role
- Full-time positions at Clovis Community College are not remote positions and require a physical presence on campus to fulfill duties and college-related responsibilities.
- THIS IS A PART-TIME CONTRACT POSITION AND CONTINGENT UPON GRANT FUNDING.
- Assist with preparing regular and ad hoc statistical and narrative reports that inform academic advising, enrollment management, institutional effectiveness, and grant accountability.
Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain documentation related to data methods, data dictionaries, analytic procedures, and dashboard specifications.
- Support data integrity, workflow improvement, and enhancements to institutional reporting structures.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related tasks as needed to fulfill grant requirements and support Student Success priorities.
- The Institutional Research Assistant will support the Digital Holistic Student Support project and the college's Student Success initiatives by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data that informs institutional reporting and operational decision making.
- Use statistical and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, R, Python) to present insights in clear, accessible formats for leadership and campus partners.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent credits in related field required
- Continuous handling of paper and paper materials required.
- Must be available to up to 20 hours per week during normal operating hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize Student Success-related data to support the creation of dashboards, institutional reporting tools, and grant-required analytics.
- $13.00 - $18.00 depending on degree held.
Nice to have
- 3 years of experience in a related field preferred
