With focused engagement with the Proposal teams.

Hands-on experience developing and implementing best-practices specific to cost management, supplier management, and risk mitigation
Lead sourcing related activities such as supplier investigation, supplier selection/award, major raw material cost rolls/updating, material master maintenance, supplier documentation maintenance & due diligence requirements
Manage projects/initiatives from inception to delivery, creating and managing against detailed project plans/schedules
Leads supplier meetings & participates in relevant project meetings to help define project scope and objectives
Developing category-specific/project costing models & sourcing strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Leading global cost reduction initiatives, conducting regular cost benchmarking to ensure cost competitiveness and develop supply risk mitigation strategies.
Regularly reviews Sourcing policies, procedures and workflows to ensure up-to-date document version and adherence to processes.
Managing supplier performance by engaging with cross-functional business partners to drive supplier performance improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's degree Business or Engineering, or equivalent working experience
Minimum eight-years' experience in procurement and category in industrial/ manufacturing sectors
Minimum five-years' experience in global sourcing and category management
Strong understanding and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically in an industrial manufacturing setting
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal skills and proven people-management experience

Direct experience with high-impact commodities with deep understanding of raw metal alloys, steel fabrications, instrumentation & controls, pumps, valves and 3rd party contract manufacturing is preferred
