About the role
- The Plant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the plant and underground operations.
- All personnel will be responsible for the facilities' Safe Food initiative based on FSMA and Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ensure the most safe, efficient, and economical operation of the plant
Responsibilities
- Manage the output of the plant in a way that maximizes reserves and efficiently utilizes all plant assets
- Involved in developing and control profits, plans and budget

Requirements
- Must have at least seven to ten years previous leadership experience in a fast-paced mining and/or heavy manufacturing, construction, environments.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and financial statements, including P&L is required.
Nice to have
- Ten (10) plus years of leadership experience in an industrial minerals/clay experience.
- Related Industries having worked in the following or comparable previous roles: Maintenance Manager, Production Manager, Mine/Quarry Manager, and/ or Quality Manager

Compensation
- Responsible for the execution of the objectives at the plant consistent with Company and Corporate objectives; the development and the implementation of a strategic plan to meet the objectives; and the monthly and annual review of objective results.
