About the role
- This position will be located in Seal Beach, CA.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Deputy CPEs within the OOP CPE Office to resolve technical issues and ensure fleet safety
- Work with Fleet Chief Office and attend Fleet Support Review Board (FSRB) to identify and act on test/certification needs that support timely issue closure.
- Represent the program in regulator meetings, collaborate with FAA and Reg Admin to escalate program-critical certification issues.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- 3+ years of management experience managing technical and/or engineering teams.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- drive required follow-up and escalation.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in leading multi-functional teams to meet customer expectations on quality and schedule.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience possess effectively communicating and influencing decision-making by internal and external management and senior level representatives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to all stakeholders.
- Solid technical background with the ability to guide and mentor the team.
- Familiarity with BCAB, BPSM, COSP, and NNC review processes.
- Experience working with regulators.

Compensation
- $182,000 - $246,000
