About the role
- It operates across four core markets: political news and opinion, business news and personal finance, golf, and sports and genre entertainment.
- The days for this role will primarily be Thursday through Sunday with non-traditional hours to account for golf coverage.
Responsibilities
- Maintain voice and content standards across multiple platforms and brands
- Work with Versant Sport's video and editorial teams to create highly-sharable content
- Contribute to team brainstorms by pitching content ideas that will help build video views and audience
- Strong copy editing skills, ability to self-edit your own work
Requirements
- Must have work authorization to work in the United States

- This role includes day-to-day content planning, ideation and distribution for Versant Sports' social platforms.
- The ideal candidate has a solid knowledge of social media and user behavior and a strong track record in social platform expertise, creativity and attention to detail.
- This role will focus primarily on golf, but a plus if the candidate has expertise in Versant's sports portfolio, including Premier League, basketball, volleyball and NASCAR.
- This is a project based / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 6 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sports, particularly Golf / NASCAR / WNBA and/or Premier League
- Familiarity with live-video clipping platforms a plus, such as Wildmoka, WSC, Grabyo, etc.
- Ability to shoot and edit content as needed a plus.
