Responsibilities
- Equipment & Tools Operation: Sketches and lays out work from drawings and sketches, interprets blueprints, schematics, and diagrams, requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies, maintains records, logs, blueprints, plans, and specifications, operates forklifts, air compressors, cranes, jackhammers, portable and stationary generators, pneumatic and electric tools and equipment.
- Operational Support: Operates computers to create and access records, timecards, and work orders, responds to emergency situations, coordinates work with stakeholders, assists with training or instructing others, may lead the work of others as a project leader, and performs related duties as assigned.
- Operational Driving*: Drive and operate Authority vehicle to various work sites on the SAN campus.
- Change Management - Identifies and implements available tools, techniques, and behaviors necessary to support change efforts that require the adoption and realization of change to achieve project outcomes and initiatives; adapts to evolving situations and effectively addresses resistances and concerns.
- Ability to deliver targeted results to specification, at cost and on schedule.
- Licenses, Certificates, and Special Requirements: A valid California Class "C" driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under the Authority's vehicle insurance policy.
- Applicants must maintain an acceptable driving record to operate Authority vehicles.

- A valid California driver's license is required, along with strict adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Compliance with Airport Authority vehicle use policies, including safety protocols and reporting requirements, is mandatory.

Skills
- Specialized Trade Knowledge - Airfield 5kv voltage an 12Kv voltage experience.
- Project Management - Strong organizational skills and ability to complete assignments within expectations.
- Must be flexible to work the second or third shift including weekends and holidays.
- Exhibits consistency and reliability; demonstrates awareness of others.
- Leveraging Technology - Effectively uses and generates information electronically, integrates technology solutions and systems.
- Four years of journey-level experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment and devices.
- Or an equivalent combination of training and experience. **
Compensation
- The hiring salary for the Electrician II is starting at $37.08 an hour.
- The full pay range for the Electrician II is $37.08 to $50.19.
