Responsibilities

- Xylem is dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations to enable all employees to perform their essential job functions.
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing on Godwin fleet equipment between each rental
- Perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and shop support equipment
- Perform diagnostic checks using computer-based tools and technology
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to support customers after hours
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills
- 3-5 years of diesel technician/mechanic experience and/or relevant training (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with diesel engine experience
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
- CDL Class B - Preferred
- Ability to obtain required customer clearances (TWIC, DISA, etc.), if applicable
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues (advanced diagnostics preferred)
- Knowledge of equipment repair methods, tools, and techniques
- Basic understanding of pump station electrical controls and monitoring systems
- Experience with DC electrical systems and circuit testing
- Familiarity with diesel engine components and systems
- Understanding of safety practices and procedures
Compensation
- The estimated salary range for this position is $26/hr. - $34/hr.
- Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
