About the role
- The Receiving Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming electronic components, printed circuit boards, and sheet metal parts to ensure materials meet purchase order requirements, customer specifications, drawings, and applicable quality standards.
- This role supports a fast-paced PCBA manufacturing environment and helps prevent nonconforming material from entering production.
Responsibilities
- Perform PCB receiving inspection per drawings and applicable inspection criteria, when assigned.
- Perform sheet metal inspection per drawings and dimensional requirements.
- Create NCMR reports for nonconforming products and move rejected material to the MRB cage.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret component drawings, datasheets, specifications, and purchase order requirements.
- Ability to use digital calipers, pin gauges, and multimeters.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-600 workmanship standards.
- Experience inspecting PCBs, electronic components, and sheet metal parts in a PCBA manufacturing environment.
- Record inspection results accurately in required systems or logs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Candidates are not required to disclose criminal history or participate in a background check unless and until a conditional offer of employment has been made.
