About the role

  • Role Summary Cardlytics is looking for a Senior Counsel to join our small, nimble, fast-paced Legal and Compliance department, reporting to the Assistant General Counsel.
  • The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, wildly intelligent attorney who is also a practical thinker, unafraid to keep the "big picture" in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Support business units across the company, assisting stakeholders with a vast array of legal needs
  • Independently draft and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements with customers, vendors, and partners
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to facilitate high-volume sales activities
  • Help develop new and improved processes and procedures to ensure that Cardlytics' Legal and Compliance department is efficient, organized, and world-class
  • Help navigate rapidly developing data privacy legislation to ensure that company's policies and procedures remain ahead of the curve
  • Comfort with and skill at sizing up a legal document and spotting the issues, whether a simple sales contract or a multi-million-dollar agreement that will change the trajectory of the company
