About the role
- Company Description FuseFX is an award-winning Visual Effects Studio providing visual effects services for episodic television, feature films, commercials, virtual productions, and VR.
- Our flagship studio is in Los Angeles, CA, with locations in New York City, Vancouver, BC., and Atlanta.
- Our Montreal, Toronto, and Bogota studios are serviced by FOLKS VFX, who joined FuseFX in 2020.
Responsibilities
- Lead documentation and change management efforts
- Train and develop team members encouraging acquisition of new skills.
- Escalation & Support - 30%
- Provide coordination and support for technology team
- Gather and deliver concise problem solving to infrastructure team to assist with advanced diagnostics
- The primary focus of this position is the direction and management of the technology department, including escalation support and oversight of all technology-related tasks.
Requirements
- Knowledge and configuration experience of Networking (Ruckus, Extreme, Arista, Commscope, Mellanox) and Firewall devices (Palo Alto, Watchguard)
- Minimum 7 years' experience in an enterprise system engineering environment
- Positive can-do attitude combined with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Nice to have
- Scripting/automation Python a plus
- Supporting 2D and 3D artists / applications, Nuke and Maya a plus
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification a plus
