About the role
- The ideal person will have a strong passion for manual software testing and be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our products.
- This is a hybrid role based in Jacksonville, FL, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse, innovative team.
Responsibilities
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases based on product requirements and specifications
- Requirements Analysis: Review and analyze system specifications and user stories to understand testing requirements and create comprehensive test strategies
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects. Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
- Test Documentation: Prepare and maintain test documentation including test cases, test data and test results
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure the new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases based on product requirements and specifications

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manual software testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
Nice to have
- Knowledge or experience in the shipping, supply chain, warehouse industries is a plus
- Knowledge of AWS infrastructure is a plus
Skills
- Proficiency in creating detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test cases and test strategies
- Ability to think critically and analytically with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, practices and tools
