About the role
- At EVR there are currently 5 water treatment facilities which use a variety of treatment technologies to achieve compliance of mine impacted water in the receiving environment.
Responsibilities
- Work along side the process engineering team to ensure performance objectives are achieved and reporting requirements are met, Conduct routine water sampling, laboratory, and quality control testing; prepare reagents and manage the collection and dispatch of hazardous waste and third-party samples.
Requirements
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite®
- Previous experience with SCADA, Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interface systems is considered an asset
- Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.

- Elk Valley Resources (EVR) operates four steelmaking coal mines that employ over 5,000 people in the Elk Valley of British Columbia.
- The successful applicant will be placed at any one of the following facilities based on education, experience and business need.

- The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
