About the role

  • Artsy is seeking a driven, self-motivated Sales Development Associate to join our Gallery Partnerships team.
  • This sales role is a unique opportunity to contribute to Artsy's digital transformation of the art world by driving growth and expanding our global gallery network.
  • As a Sales Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to prospective galleries, pitching Artsy's value proposition, and generating new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Generate outbound leads via cold calling and email campaigns
  • Follow up on marketing generated leads and conduct research to evaluate partnership opportunity and fit
  • Qualify warm leads for Sales Managers, and schedule product demonstrations with relevant prospects
  • Test, measure, and improve outreach campaign effectiveness and end-to-end lead management
  • Engaging opportunities and internal programming globally, to foster new relationships and build upon our collaborative community.

Requirements

  • You are currently authorized to live and work in the US
  • You are a compelling and persuasive communicator
  • You have strong time management skills
  • You have experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or other automation tools
  • You have professional experience or a network within the commercial art world in Europe
  • You are not comfortable cold calling

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is $50,000-$60,000 annually.
  • In addition, you will be eligible for the company's commission plan, with an annual VC opportunity of $20,000.
