- Shift structure consists of 12hr shifts on rotation between days and nights including weekends.
Responsibilities
- The Oxidizer Helper is a one-year Fixed-Term contract to provide support to the Oxidizer Operator.
- Document quality checks at regular intervals.
- Document production numbers and items contributing to down-times (using a computerized system, as well as hand-written production reports)
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
Requirements
- Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to operate a pallet jack to move material
- Ability to regularly stand and use hands to fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to walk
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts on alternate days with rotating weekends off.
- Ability to read basic measurement tools and ability to read and follow proper work instructions.
- Minimum 1 year of counter-balance forklift operating experience (Recommended)
- Highly motivated, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and follow instructions.
- Comfortable with working in a dusty environment
- Manual dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Requirements:
- Ability to safely perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Comfortable standing for extended periods of time
Nice to have
- Previous experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing, construction, or similar industry preferred

- Reporting to the Production Specialist, the primary role and responsibility of an Oxidizer Helper is to assist our operators in their day to day tasks while respecting the company's safety rules and regulations ultimately creating a safe and orderly workplace.
