Ability to work well as part of a team of scientists working at the interface of evolutionary, molecular, and genetics.

Ability to work efficiently, be adaptable, and be self-motivated.

Harmit Malik in the Basic Sciences Division of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle.
The Malik lab focuses on conducting evolutionary studies of genetic conflict to gain insight into their mechanisms and consequences.

The Lab Assistant will coordinate with a senior member of the Malik lab team to work a regular 1-2 day/week work schedule (with some flexibility on specific work days) for a total of 10-12 hours/week.
This role will be compensated at a rate of $21.30/hour.
Previous experience working in a lab environment would be a plus.
