About the role

  • Capco is looking for a Consultant, Data Validation to join our Technology & Engineering practice in Toronto.
  • Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will help ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of critical business data, enabling successful technology delivery and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Validate, analyse, and reconcile large and complex datasets to identify data quality issues and inconsistencies.
  • Investigate data anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Produce clear documentation, reports, and insights that support project delivery and client outcomes.
  • Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) - Company-paid support services for employees and their dependents/partners.
  • At Capco, we use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support and enhance several parts of talent acquisition.
  • AI is used as a support tool only.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex data issues.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience within financial services or consulting is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation.
  • Experience using SQL or other data querying tools.
  • Experience supporting technology transformation or data migration initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is listed below.
  • Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.
