About the role
- Interconnection Planning is responsible for evaluating requests to add generation to the transmission system.
- Accountable for the end-to-end execution of generator interconnection projects, including study completion, cost allocation, construction coordination, and project close-out.
Responsibilities
- It also supports the Large Loads that are also utilizing this transmission system to ensure these loads meet the compliance of reliability and regulatory requirements.
- This role will provide tactical leadership to ensure the various Interconnection Planning teams (Self-Build/Company Owned projects, Large Loads, Customer DER, and QF/OATT study teams, are coordinated and planned to successfully integrate into the transmission system.
- This role will drive consistency in processes, expectations, and performance across interconnection planning teams.
