About the role
- Responsible for working under the direction of the Recreation Therapist(s) to provide therapeutic programming to clients.
- The focus is on helping clients to achieve life enrichment and recreation goals.
- This position reports to a Director of Care for performance and employment matters.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is essential.
- Responsible for other related duties as required.
- Graduation from an Accredited Therapy Assistant program.
- Relevant equivalent training or experience may be considered.
Nice to have
- Experience with computers preferred.
