About the role

  • We need coverage for the evening shifts Tuesday and Thursda y from 5-9:30 pm at our site in Columbus, OH.
  • This is a part-time, variable-schedule position.
  • Shift schedules are typically finalized Friday before the upcoming week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead age-appropriate activities and manage group dynamics with empathy and skill
  • Plan and implement curriculum and hands-on activities
  • Maintain records, paperwork, and a clean, organized space
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and the Center Director
  • 1+ year of experience as a Lead Teacher in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting (babysitting/nannying does not qualify)
  • Familiarity with toilet training approaches and ability to support children at various stages of the process

Requirements

  • Experience with diapering and knowledge of diapering best practices for toddlers
  • Comfort with digital tools for parent/staff communication

Nice to have

  • 1+ year as a Center Director
  • Experience managing multi-age groups, including school-age children
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or similar certification
  • Weekly paychecks
  • Free First Aid/CPR training and certification
