About the role

  • Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office. ____________________ SUMMARY Sets up and operates cell manufacturing and test equipment in order to produce final product.

  • Reads and interprets diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine material requirements and/or assembly instructions. Selects, aligns, and secures tooling, accessories, and materials on machines, such as hydraulic presses, burnish/test machines, assembly fixtures, air or electric power tools and magnetizers. Enters appropriate settings and adjusts and calibrates equipment as needed for the assigned production order. Records production and operational data on specified forms or within specified data-tracking systems. Performs quality checks on products and parts. Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers and height gauges. Rotates through all the tasks required in a particular production process. Works at a variety of workstations and areas with other associates as required to meet customer needs. Explains assembly procedures or techniques to other associates. Maintains an orderly, safe, and clean workplace. Participates in cell meetings and events. May perform other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Previous industrial assembly background is preferred, but not required, however a verifiable and solid work history is. Knowledge of gauging processes is a plus.

  • Ability to apply concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Frequent forward bending and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to work in manufacturing environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Sets up and operates cell manufacturing and test equipment in order to produce final product.
  • Inspects parts as needed for product quality.
  • Performs routine preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Assists in training of new associates on standard processes within manufacturing, changeovers and inspection.
