About the role
- Headquartered in Singapore, Bitdeer operates globally with a diversified 3 GW energy portfolio, and deploys Bitcoin mining and HPC datacenters in the United States, Bhutan, Norway, Canada, Malaysia, and Ethiopia.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets/forecasts and provide variance explanations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with BU heads to build commercially sound cases for new project development Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including transferring CIP (Construction in Progress) to Fixed Assets (FA), fixed asset counting, and maintaining accrual schedules.
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions to manage credit lines, loans, deposits, and settlement services.
- Ensure timely forwarding of relevant documents to the Group Tax team for further action.
Requirements
- FP&A: Assist the business team in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models (as required).
- Assist in internal and external audits as required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Accounting/FP&A certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or progress toward certification is a strong plus.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
