About the role
- JOB DESCRIPTION The Wofford College Department of Music invites applications to establish a pool of qualified candidates to serve as adjunct instructors.
- Opportunities may include applied instruction in voice or instruments, or classroom teaching in music theory, music appreciation, or other departmental courses.
- Our current needs include applied instructors in brass and percussion, as well as an instructor for class piano.
Responsibilities
- The music program at Wofford is in an exciting phase of growth with strong support from faculty and administration for its continued development and expansion.
- The college community supports 19 NCAA Division I athletics teams and numerous student organizations, including honor societies, professional organizations, faith-based organizations, Greek life, and club sports.

Requirements
- A master's degree in music (MM, MA, or equivalent) is required.
- Demonstrated excellence as both a performer and teacher.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success.
