About the role

  • The Marketplace is where MoneyLion customers see their financial options and act on them.

  • This is a hands-on role - you'll be in the details with your team day to day, not directing from a distance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the most complex, cross-cutting problems in the Marketplace from problem to launch to iteration, and be accountable for how they move customer and business outcomes.
  • Take on ambiguous problems before they're well defined. Frame them so other teams can move in parallel, and set the direction they build against.
  • Build buy-in across the company, and collaborate with partners and adjacent teams (covering both B2C and B2B).
  • Cross-Functional Panel (individual interviews with Design, Engineering Lead, and Data/Marketing)
  • We're always looking for smart, fearless and high-impact talent who see AI as a teammate - leveraging it to move faster and deliver meaningful results.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including consumer apps, with a track record of taking hard, ambiguous problems from unclear to shipped and scaled.
  • You use it to find problems, size opportunities, and decide, and you know when the numbers aren't enough.

Nice to have

  • Experience with marketplace products.
  • B2B exposure, or familiarity partnering with B2B-facing teams.
  • Genuinely curious about personal finance and how people make decisions about money.
  • Highly empathetic.
  • You start from the customer's situation, not the feature.
  • At home with complexity and a natural systems thinker.
  • You can hold a lot of moving parts in your head and reason about how they connect.
  • Tuned in to where consumer software is heading and what the best products are doing.

Compensation

  • The annual base salary for this position is expected to be between $200,000 and $250,000.
  • Base salary is one component of Gen's total compensation package, which includes 401(k) match, health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off.
