About the role

As a Senior Proofreader, you are responsible for checking and ensuring the quality of all materials for client review, for a submission, or for technical deployment.
You are an expert in the English language, can ensure grammatical and spelling accuracy in all materials produced, and are proficient in AMA editorial style.
As Senior Proofreader, you will need to be experienced in reviewing both digital and print pieces.

Perform light copyediting and proofreading, checking for grammatical accuracy and spelling errors
Ensure all final copy and design match approved job

Must be able to mark up corrections using Adobe Acrobat tools as well as Microsoft Word documents
Proficiency in AMA style

2+ years of proofreading experience in an agency environment (healthcare/pharma marketing preferred), proofreading both digital/interactive and print work
Familiarity with pharmaceutical or healthcare terminology
