Responsibilities
- Uses appropriate tools to collect, correlate, and analyze data; maintains financial records; and collaborates with Finance to prepare materials for planning reviews, including cost center-level detail, project spend, and functional budgets.
- Monitor and report financial performance, prepare monthly meeting presentations with cross-functional partners, and assist in communicating status to BTS Finance, leadership, delivery teams, and colleagues.
- Applies analytical thinking to diagnose financial workflows, recommend process improvements, and optimize financial operations through data analysis, process mapping, dashboards, and AI/automation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and enhance financial accuracy by standardizing procedures.
- Ability to establish and maintain quality relationships with all levels across the company and with external partners.
- In the role of Senior Analyst, Business Systems you will support many functional areas and apply relevant principles.
Requirements
- Experience with Portfolio and Project Management practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Excel), including resource and financial management
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years' technical experience, or Master's Degree plus 4 years' experience
Compensation
- Assist with driving operational excellence and standards for monthly expense LBE's (Latest Best Estimates), annual Capital Plan, Functional Budgets, and LRP activities.
