About the role
- Conducts detailed reviews of client's property tax data on the state and local level, while providing consulting services for these clients.
- Conducts property tax reviews for DMA clients
- Prepares written reports supporting DMA's position for taxing authorities; reviews and submits periodic status reports to clients; prepares Letters of Findings and tax summary data for clients
Responsibilities
- Performs detailed industry and economic research (i.e., research comparable companies, review financial statements) to identify potential opportunities for clients
- Tax Managers and other business development professionals in scoping and developing customized solutions for new and prospective clients
- Manages, coordinates, and reviews activities of Tax Analysts and Sr.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field, coursework in Appraisal desired
- 5+ years of experience in property tax consulting, appraisal, or related field
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite, specifically Excel
- Organizational and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to meet travel requirements of the job - 25% at a minimum
