About the role
- The Manager, Maintenance Reliability & Scheduling position is responsible for leading the maintenance organization to ensure safe, reliability, and cost-effective operation of plant equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
- Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and/or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on major breakdowns and chronic issues.
- Drive implementation of Predictive, Preventive, and Condition‑Based Maintenance programs.
- Partner with Production Planning and Operations to optimize downtime scheduling.
- Track and drive PM completion rates, targeting 100% monthly completion
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, TPM, or similar methodologies.
- Support development and standardization of preventive maintenance best practices
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and commissioning activities.
- Develop and manage the maintenance and reliability budget spend.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, EHS, Food Safety, and corporate teams on maintenance initiatives and projects
Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifteen pounds.
- Must be able to travel 10% of the time and work nights & weekends.
- Company provided Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) must be worn while on the production floor

- Experience with developing and executing reliability strategies to improve equipment uptime and lifecycle performance is a MUST.
- We are a 24/7 facility so must be accessible when needed
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred)
- 7-10+ years of progressive maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 3+ years in a maintenance or reliability leadership role
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience working in a regulated food manufacturing environment - USDA Preferred
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems
- Familiarity with RCFA, FMEA, Predictive Maintenance tools, and asset management practices
- Understanding of OSHA, safety, and regulatory requirements
Compensation
- $130,000.00 - $155,000.00 / yr (dependent on transferrable skills and experience) plus annual bonus up to 12.5%
