About the role

  • Process Engineer - Aerospace Transparencies Huntsville, AL Are you a passionate and driven process engineering professional who is looking to take their career to new heights?
  • Then look no further than this opportunity with PPG's Aerospace business!
  • This is an on-site role reporting to the Huntsville, AL facility.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical resource for production team in the work cell. Work closely with operators to eliminate barriers to production. Provide technical support for day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with quality team, design engineering team, new product development team, safety team, analytical lab, operators, and other manufacturing engineers on a regular basis to resolve problems, improve manufacturing processes, and improve safety of the work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline required.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience within engineering or an equivalent environment required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
  • Ability to effectively work with floor level operators, manufacturing, quality and design engineering teams to drive positive change.
