About the role

  • Work requires use of conventional drafting techniques and a working knowledge of the terms and procedures of a security integration company.

Responsibilities

  • Design plans using AutoCAD computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) software.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers to acquire device templates and to create device detail drawing templates.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills.
  • We continuously develop our knowledge and transfer that knowledge to each other, our customers, and our vendors.

Requirements

  • Associate degree with drafting as primary objective with certificate of completion.
  • At least 2 years of AutoCAD experience.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Willingness to work from a bucket truck as required for installations and maintenance.
  • A CAD Drafter may be required to perform any of the duties and responsibilities below, but not limited to:
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess exceptional time-management skills.

Nice to have

  • Fluency with Microsoft Office 365 software tools.

Compensation
