About the role
- We are seeking a part-time tech-savvy nurse practitioner (24 hours/week) with experience in women's healthcare (Family Practitioner, Internal Medicine or OB/GYN) to join our growing remote medical team.
- MyMenopauseRx is an OB/GYN founded and led nationwide medical group and telemedicine platform that provides evidence-based menopause healthcare, scaled by technology, and delivered by menopause-trained compassionate physicians and nurse practitioners.
- We are in-network with most major PPO insurance plans and offer women convenient access to clinical care with synchronous video visits, 24/7 messaging, and prescribing of FDA-approved medications and supplements.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Perform synchronous consultations via MyMenopauseRx's EMR in accordance with our care model and protocols.
- Willingness to collaborate with colaborating physician.
Nice to have
- Menopause Society Certification or willingness to obtain it within one year of hire.
- 3+ years of direct patient care Prior Telehealth experience is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a startup environment.
- Tech-savvy in using various systems such as Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack and our MyMenopauseRx proprietary EMR or a willingness to learn.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication, with compassionate and intuitive listening skills.
- Evaluate patient history, and provide diagnosis, prescription, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations.
- Desire to care for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause symptoms, including weight management.
- Coordinate patient care and respond to patients in a timely manner.
