Responsibilities
- Maintain product quality in accordance with specifications.
- Maintain high productivity, without lowering quality standards.
- Maintain a smooth flow of work within the department and into the departments to which the department supplies parts.
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout the department.
- Carries out special projects in the department. Such projects may result from employee suggestions; better method proposals by lead persons; suggestions from the Manager - Manufacturing Engineering and others.
- Maintain such records as may be prescribed by their superintendent and others.
- In addition to the above, Supervisors are to maintain an organized, clean and safe work area using safety standards and expectations while adhering to all quality practices.
Requirements
- Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:
- Bachelor's degree is highly desirable.
- 5-7 years' experience in manufacturing environment required, aerospace manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with managing 25+ employees.
- Experience with a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience with and oriented toward metrics in business analysis.
