About the role
- The Medical Assistant (Credentialed/Certified) is responsible for assisting in the daily activities of the clinic operation, performing a variety of clinical and clerical tasks in an outpatient clinical setting.
- Primary responsibilities include taking vital signs, putting patients in rooms, reviewing Electronic Health Record (EHR) to ensure completeness of medical record and assisting the provider or nurse with treatments.
- Registers patients on arrival, making sure the registration information is correct within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

- Duties Responsibilities Performs direct patient care tasks such as the following:
- Obtains and documents patient's vital signs in the EHR.
- Obtains missing documentation and documents completely and accurately.
