Responsibilities

  • General Ledger Management: Prepare and post journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Account Reconciliations: Perform deep-dive reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheets, intercompany transactions, and credit cards, proactively resolving any discrepancies.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is necessary.
  • Experience with accounting software like NetSuite.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is necessary.
  • Education & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • CPA Preferred
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is necessary. Experience with accounting software like NetSuite.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP and standard accounting procedures.
  • Core Competencies:
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Motivated to meet tight deadlines in, at times, a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working outside your comfort zone.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
